We would like to thank our partners for their support and collaboration. We collaborate with local partners in places affected by conflict to ensure that local communities and national authorities feel ownership of conflict management mechanisms and are able to sustain local peace solutions. It is our priority to ensure our local partners’ strategic vision is incorporated into our work.
Our approach to working with local partners is both flexible and robust. We are supportive in adapting to the local realities of our partners, but also robust in the application of minimum accountabilities.
If invited to do so, we use our experience and expertise to build the peacebuilding skills and organisational capacity of our partners (e.g. providing mentoring in areas of financial management and reporting, monitoring and evaluation, and project cycle management).
